SDPI is a policy research institute and the country’s premier think tank which produces knowledge on sustainable development to enhance the capacity of the government and private sector in making informed policy decisions and to engage civil society on issues of public interest.
The global community will come together in Katowice, Poland in December 2018 to move forward discussions on making progress towards a climate resilient future. A recent report by the IPCC has highlighted the urgency required to mitigate the impacts of climate change so that the global rise of temperatures could be limited to 1.5 degrees.
In this context, Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) will hold a seminar titled “Climate Negotiations and COP 24” to discuss the way forward in light of the latest scientific research.
