Food Engineer, Food Technologist
At least 3 years of experience in Food Industry
Purpose of Job
Responsible for Budgeting, Planning and accounting of all topics relating to Integrated Supply Chain of GMEA region, which includes Inventory, Customer Service, production allocation decisions, feasibility studies for capability decisions. Able to provide sound decision support to key stakeholders i.e. Cluster Supply chain management Team and Cluster finance management team.
1.Budgeting, Planning and monitoring of all financials in the ambit of integrated supply chains
2.Decision support to senior management on new capability investments
3.Close coordination with central team on production allocation decisions
4.Perform variance analysis (Sales, cost, margin) at a detailed level (e.g. Product, Customer) and drive or recommend corrective actions
5.Perform Business case follow-up (actual vs. initial assumptions, benefit realization) on investments and other business cases
6.Support the annual financial planning and forecasting process for the respective function, also by using economic indicators (e.g. exchange rates, inflation etc.
7.Able to understand tax dynamics, specially related to customs and its impact on supply chain costs.
8.Able to ensure accurate monthly reporting and able to present results to senior management
9.Support the development of new tools/procedures and ensure implementation for own area
10.Able to coach, collaborate and closely work with Business Control staff and all other stakeholders
11.Ensure policies and guidelines related to ISC are followed and in case of non-compliance, can take steps for compliance or escalate to right level.
